Why this night is different

Eight sold-out nights of more than 17,000 people each, split into two blocks (April and May), with most of the crowd coming from outside Madrid, a good share from the Canary Islands. That does not strain one night: it strains two entire weekends of cheap accommodation, which disappears weeks in advance. Specific warning for the April block: Atlético play Levante at the Metropolitano on the weekend of the 10th and 11th, with no kick-off time confirmed yet, so two of the first three dates could clash with a match and leave the city with two venues emptying at once. The 14th and 15th are clear. The May block has no football on top, but falls right after San Isidro (15 May), with the city full.

Heads-up for this concert

There are eight concerts and all eight are sold out. Seven start at 20:30 with doors at 19:00; the one on 20 May is the only one without published timings yet, so confirm it before planning your way back. The floor is standing, unnumbered: if you want to be at the front, expect to queue well before 19:00. Under-14s can only enter accompanied by an adult.

How to get out when it ends

The Movistar Arena has three metro lines and service until 01:30, so the real risk is not being stranded without transport: it is the human bottleneck at the Felipe II exit towards Goya during the first half hour after the last encore.

The key

Metro until 01:30 at the Movistar Arena. Leave through O'Donnell (line 6) or walk ten minutes to Príncipe de Vergara: you get home sooner than queuing on the Goya platform.

The Felipe II entrance (main access) overwhelms the pavement towards Goya. Leaving through Goya 2 towards O'Donnell spreads the flow.

The venue does not publish a fixed pick-up point. Cabify has been its official mobility partner since 2026 and coordinates high-demand departures. In practice, walk two or three streets into the neighbourhood and order from a street with normal traffic.

What you can bring and what gets taken

The Movistar Arena allows backpacks and bags of up to 25 litres, and drinks only in plastic, capless and no larger than 50 cl. What most people do not know is that there is a cloakroom and outdoor storage at €2 per item, though not for suitcases.

The key

At the Movistar Arena: a bag of 25 L or less and a 50 cl plastic bottle with no cap. If something fails the check, there is €2 outdoor storage next to the Felipe II box office.

Everything at a glance, under Movistar Arena's rules.

This venue has a cloakroom

Cloakroom and outdoor storage at €2 per garment or item, cash or card. The outdoor storage opens half an hour before doors next to the Felipe II box office and, on some nights, also on Calle Fuente del Berro; inside there are several cloakrooms, opened depending on the event. It is a cloakroom, not left luggage.

Coming with a suitcase? The venue cloakroom will not take it: you need left luggage before you arrive.

Where to sleep that night

Sleeping near the Movistar Arena is one of the few easy things about this venue: you are in the middle of the Salamanca district, with metro until 01:30 and the option of walking back in ten or fifteen minutes if you stay around Goya or Príncipe de Vergara.

The key

Near the Movistar Arena you walk back in 10 or 15 minutes from Goya or Príncipe de Vergara. On a budget, sleep on metro line 2: it saves you the interchange exactly when the metro is at its fullest.

Where to sleep cheap with no transfers

Budget-conscious out-of-town crowd: prioritise guesthouses and 1-2 star hotels on the same metro line so you do not depend on the last train.

Where to eat before or after

Around the Movistar Arena there are 121 places to eat within 450 metres, so here the problem is not finding somewhere: it is that you are in the Salamanca district, and that many kitchens close before you get out of the concert.

The key

There are 121 places to eat within 450 metres of the Movistar Arena. Eat beforehand: on the way out, the options shrink to a handful of chains.

No section selected. The map is schematic: it helps you understand where you land and which way you will exit, not pick an exact seat.

Every section, in detail

Front stage

The strip of floor right in front of the stage. Sold separately and pricier, and also standing and unnumbered: inside the front stage, whoever arrives first is at the front. It is the hardest area to get out of, because the whole floor is between you and the doors. If your tour does not sell a front stage, this is general floor.

Floor

Standing and unnumbered: what you get depends on when you arrive, not on your ticket. From halfway back you still see the stage well and you get out much sooner. Wheelchairs and crutches are not allowed on the floor: with reduced mobility, your ticket is in the stands.

Goya end

The stand facing the stage head-on, on the Calle Goya side. It is the furthest from the stage, but the only one that sees the show straight on, with no sound towers in the way. That side lets you out straight towards Goya metro: convenient, and exactly why that is where the queue builds up at the end.

Fuente del Berro side

Side stand on the Calle Fuente del Berro side. You see the stage in profile, and the closer you are to it, the more side-on: avoid the front rows right by the stage, which sit almost under the sound towers. The advantage is the exit: you are on the opposite side from Goya, handier for O'Donnell (L6), which is far less used.

Felipe II side

Side stand on the Avenida de Felipe II side, the main façade and the one with the box office. Same side-on view as the opposite stand and the same rule: avoid the front rows by the stage. On the way out that whole pavement heads to Goya; if you want the metro without a queue, walk to O'Donnell (L6) or ten minutes to Príncipe de Vergara.

Upper tier

The top ring, wrapping both sides and the Goya end. Distant, with the sound bouncing off the roof, but the atmosphere is usually the best in the arena. The problem is getting out: every upper tier empties down the same stairs and that is where the bottleneck forms. If you are in a hurry, start heading down during the last encore.

Frequently asked questions

What time does the Quevedo concert at the WiZink Center end?

The show starts at 20:30 and doors open at 19:00. Counting the support act and encores, it is reasonable to plan on it finishing around 23:00. That is an estimate: the venue is in a residential area with a curfew, so it does not run much past midnight.

How many concerts is Quevedo playing in Madrid?

Eight, all at the Movistar Arena (WiZink Center), in two blocks: 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15 April, and 17, 18 and 20 May 2027. All sold out.

Will I make the last metro?

Easily. The metro at Goya (L2 and L4) and O'Donnell (L6) runs until 01:30, so you have over two hours. The problem is not the time, it is the crush: the Goya platform gets overwhelmed for the first 20 to 30 minutes. Walking ten minutes to Príncipe de Vergara or Sáinz de Baranda gets you out sooner.

Are there tickets left for Quevedo at the Movistar Arena?

No. All eight dates show as sold out on the venue's website: 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15 April, and 17, 18 and 20 May 2027. Watch out for unofficial resale: entry validates the ticket, and you can be left outside after paying.

What time do doors open?

At 19:00, an hour and a half before the start. If you have a numbered seat, arriving early gains you nothing; if you are on the floor and want to be at the front, the queue forms well before that time.

Can I bring a backpack?

Yes, as long as it is small: the venue allows backpacks and bags of up to 25 litres. Anything larger does not clear security.

Is there a cloakroom at the WiZink Center?

Yes. It costs €2 per garment or item, payable in cash or by card, and opens half an hour before doors, in the Felipe II area next to the box office and on Calle Fuente del Berro. It is a cloakroom, not left luggage: if you arrive with large luggage, sort it out beforehand.

Can I bring food or drink?

Packaged food that does not need cutlery, yes. Drinks only in a plastic container, capless, no larger than 50 cl. No glass, no alcohol and no food with shells such as sunflower seeds or peanuts.

Can minors attend?

Yes, but under-14s can only enter accompanied by an adult.
